Forró is a popular Brazilian couple dance with a lot of dancers around Europe. Its easy and catchy rhythm has found its way to the hearts of many. Characteristic to Forró is a very close embrace, like hugging and moving to the music together!
About us.
Forró Abraço Nordestino ry (FANry) is a non-profit association dedicated to supporting its members and the wider Forró community in Finland since 2018. We promote and organize Brazilian cultural activities, with a special focus on Forró dance and its rhythms. At the heart of everything we do is a strong sense of community, bringing together people who share a passion for Forró.
