About the teacher:
Hi there.
I'm Lucas, and I'll be your guide in this fascinating Brazilian dance called Forró.
I've been dancing Forró for about 14 years from different dance schools and methodologies. I'm glad to share the way I learned to express myself and have fun together with other people through dance.
About the Beginners course:
In this course, the students are exposed to the basics of Forró and start exploring movements that fit the Forró music. We'll work with elements of musicality, expression, agility, and more.
This course is fit for inexperienced dancers but also those who have tried the dance floor before and still don't know how to express themselves through the Forró dance. More experienced dancers are also welcome to refresh and learn new movements from the classes.
You can join this course with or without a partner.

As we understand Forró is best enjoyed among friends, we have a special promotion. If you bring 5 people to take the full course (Beginners or Sequences) your pass is on the house. =)

Other info:
Take your water bottle and snacks. Dress up with comfortable clothes that are flexible, loose, or don’t restrict movement. Wear indoor or dancing shoes, or stay barefoot.

PRICE & REGISTRATION:
Beginners (12 classes) - 80 eur (Association member) / 100 eur (Non-member)
Students are expected to register before joining the classes.
By becoming a member of the association Forró Abraço Nordestino (FAN ry), you will receive discounts and other perks throughout the year. The membership fee is 15 euros (or a support membership on a ”pay what you want” basis), and you can choose to become a member through the registration form.
