We are thrilled to welcome two outstanding dancers and teachers from Brazil for a special Forró weekend in Helsinki:
Douglas Dias and Pâmela Seval, both with deep roots in the renowned Mimulus Cia de Dança in Belo Horizonte!
Over two days, you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in the art and joy of Forró with 6 hours of workshops, a Saturday night party, and the option to book private classes.
This workshop is designed for dancers with prior Forró experience, from intermediate to advanced levels. The entire program will help refine and develop your skills. Please note: this event is not intended for complete beginners.

Meet the Teachers
Douglas Dias – A true master of the dance floor!
Professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer with over 15 years of experience, Douglas has taught thousands of people across 11+ countries. He's a three-time Brazilian forró champion and the founder of Como Dançar. Having danced with prestigious companies like Forral and Mimulus Dance Company, Douglas brings an incredible depth of technique, energy, and passion to every class!
Pâmela Seval – Grace, technique, and artistry combined!
With 13 years of professional experience, Pâmela blends her rich background in ballet, jazz, ballroom, and theater to create a unique forró style. A graduate of PUC Minas Theater School and a multiple award-winner in dance festivals, she currently shines as a dancer at Mimulus Dance Company, one of Brazil’s top companies.
